Discord updates & fishing tournaments paused

Added More of the action now posts to Discord — first-time player joins, mcMMO skill milestones, and Discord account links are announced automatically, along with AFK status updates.
Fixed Tidied up the death messages posted to Discord (removed a stray placeholder line in the embed).
Changed Fishing tournaments are temporarily paused while we fix a bug that stopped them from starting. Normal fishing, fish bags and treasure all still work as usual — tournaments will be back after a plugin update.

Added Teleport to your death chest — die somewhere awkward and you can now just type /actp to zip straight back to your dropped items, from anywhere, across worlds, for free. No more desperate sprint back before everything despawns.
Added /acgui (or /aclist) opens a list of your recent death chests with one-click buttons to teleport to each. Heads-up: a death chest only lasts about 10 minutes before it breaks and drops your stuff on the ground, so /actp back quickly.

Added Backpacks — everyone now carries a portable 27-slot backpack for extra storage. Open it by right-clicking the Backpack item in your inventory, or type /backpack (/bp); tidy it with /backpack clean.
Added Heads-up: a backpack's contents drop at your death spot like your normal inventory (your gravestone only holds your main inventory), so use /back to hurry back and don't carry anything you can't lose into danger.

Added Server Shop — a built-in shop for the stuff that's a pain to find: elytra, beacons, totems, mob spawners, netherite, armor trims, music discs and more. Open it with /shop (or /buy) and browse the Blocks, Combat, Food & Farming, Rare & Exotic and Spawners tabs.
Changed Prices lean toward rare, hard-to-get items being a real money goal — earn the cash through Jobs (/jobs) and your own chest shops.
Removed Selling to the server shop — it's buy-only on purpose, so player-run chest shops stay the place to sell.

Added mcMMO — RPG-style skills that level up just by playing. Mining, fishing, combat, woodcutting and more all gain XP and unlock special abilities. Check your progress with /mcstats and see any skill with /<skill> (e.g. /mining).
Added Parties — team up to share XP and perks. Start one with /party create <name>, invite friends with /party invite <player>, and chat privately with /pc. Parties level up over time to unlock teleporting, alliances and XP/item sharing.

Added Jobs — pick up to 3 professions (Miner, Farmer, Fisherman, Builder and more) and get paid automatically as you play. Browse them with /jobs browse and join with /jobs join <job>.
Added Auto-Sort — keep chests and your inventory tidy automatically. Toggle it with /sort for chests and /isort for your inventory.
Added A server menu — open it any time with /menu for a quick way to get around.
Removed The Discord "fish caught" alert — it was a bit too chatty.

2026-05-30

Added The whole world is now backed up automatically every night. In the early morning (around 5 AM EST) you'll get countdown warnings in chat, then the server restarts for a minute or two while it saves — usually back before you've finished reading this.
Added We keep a rolling 7 days of backups, so if something ever goes wrong we can roll the world back to a recent save.

Changed The server now runs Minecraft 1.21.8 (up from 1.20.1) — all the latest blocks, mobs and features. You can still join from older Java versions and Bedrock; crossplay is unchanged.
Fixed Custom fishing works again — open it with /bf.
Changed Chest shops moved to EzChestShopReborn — your shops and commands (/ecs) stay exactly the same.
Changed Updated the building & land-protection tools for the new version.
